The Civil engineering design was shared between ICOS (EGIS,\u00a0Tractebel\u00a0and\u00a0SEEC) all based in France and\u00a0ATKINS\u00a0in the UK. ICOS had responsibility for the central part of the project. ATKINS contracted to provide the detailed design of a number of work packages. As part of these design packages ICOS and Atkins created a fully integrated\u00a03D reinforcement model with Tekla Structures\u00a0which was provided to EDF and BYLOR.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/content.cdntwrk.com\/files\/aHViPTgyNzM5JmNtZD1pdGVtZWRpdG9yaW1hZ2UmZmlsZW5hbWU9aXRlbWVkaXRvcmltYWdlXzY0MDcxZGM2MTM4OTEuanBnJnZlcnNpb249MDAwMCZzaWc9NDZkMDA4MjQ2YzI1ZmNlM2YwOWJmNzExMzRhN2U3ZmI%253D\" alt=\"Using Tekla Structures, L&amp;T was able to create a 3D model of the entire power plant, which helped them to identify and resolve clashes in the design phase\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Significant efficiency achieved in Combined Cycle Power Project<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Using\u00a0Tekla Structures,\u00a0engineers at @ Larsen &amp; Toubro Ltd (L&amp;T) &#8211; Sargent &amp; Lundy Lrd were able to create a truly constructible model of an entire power plant. The complexity of the design required a much higher initial investment in its construction.
