BIM Solutions Georgia successfully hosted its private, invite-only professional event — BIM Solutions Georgia Community Day that was powered by Autodesk — bringing together representatives of architecture, engineering, construction, development, academia, and public institutions in one space. Held at Fabrika Tbilisi, the event aimed to strengthen the professional community, encourage the exchange of practical experience, open dialogue around BIM workflows and digital collaboration, and explore the future development of the AEC industry in Georgia. The official part of the evening opened with remarks and presentations from BIM Solutions Georgia presented by Vytautas Puodziunas, CEO of BIM Solutions Georgia, who shared with the audience the latest Autodesk updates released in recent weeks, highlighted key directions in platform evolution, and spoke in particular about Autodesk Forma, its capabilities, and the value it creates for the AEC sector through early-stage analysis, data-driven decision-making, and more integrated digital workflows. The event also featured engaging presentations from professionals and companies representing different parts of the industry. Among the speakers were representatives from NKC Consulting, ARCHIDEA, Smart Engineering Group, LAYOUT, SPECTRUM. Finally the Forma Design Collaboration interface and its benefits were demonstrated. Their sessions covered real project experience, BIM practice, the importance of digital working environments, platform evolution, the role of professional partnership, and the foundations of effective work within a modern BIM ecosystem. One of the key highlights of the evening was the panel discussion, which brought together representatives from different sectors and gave the conversation a balanced, practical, and multi-perspective character. The panel included: A public sector representative from the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, An academic representative from Georgian Technical University, Architectural practice representatives from leading design companies, An engineering sector representative from an engineering company, As well as professionals with experience in project and design management. The conversation focused on: Real BIM adoption in Georgia, Coordination challenges across disciplines, The connection between education and industry, The importance of data-driven working environments, And the factors that define successful project delivery in the modern AEC sector. The event stood out for its strong attendance, high level of engagement, and highly relevant audience. Questions and comments from the floor once again confirmed that such professional gatherings are an important platform for knowledge sharing, relationship building, new connections, and market development. Following the formal program, the evening continued in a more informal setting with networking, cocktails, music, and professional exchange, allowing participants to continue conversations and build new connections in a relaxed atmosphere.
